Plagiarism Policy

The journal’s plagiarism policy aims to ensure the quality and originality of the research intended for publication. Accordingly, all manuscripts submitted to the Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Commerce – Qarah Buli are subject to plagiarism detection procedures. The journal sets a maximum allowable similarity (citation) rate, which must not exceed 30% of the total manuscript. Any manuscript that exceeds this limit is rejected outright. Penalties may extend to suspending the researcher from publishing in the journal and withdrawing the article even if it has already been published, in addition to notifying the researcher and their affiliated institution.

The journal uses the tools and software available at the university to detect similarity rates, including Turnitin.
